Volvo-penta 4.3 GL....upgrades available?
 

Looking at an '04 Chaparral 290 Signature w/4.3GL DP. Was initially
informed it had the 225HP but come to find out is equipped w/the GL's -
190HP.

Wanting to find any HP upgrades etc. A little worried about the lack of
ponies pushing that size boat. Haven't made the trip down to sea trial
yet, but don't want to waste time doing so if I'm going to be
dissappointed.

Any experience with these particular engines on a rig that size or
w/avail upgrades would be appreciated.
