Fuel

Sail Harbor Marina very quietly has a bit of diesel fuel they
need to sell, for a customer. $2/gallon, first come, first
served. It's ten 55 gallon drums, and it's preferred that it
go one drum at a time because they have no good means of
measuring it.

Sail Harbor is beside Savannah Georgia, on Turner's Creek
where it opens onto the Wilmington River, mile 585 on the ICW,
lat 32 00 30, long 80 59 52.

Sounds a good deal, but it's too far from the UK to make it worthwhile!

I'd be quite wary of such fuel being offered at such low prices.
Diesel fuel has a compartively short 'shelf life' and unless this fuel
was previously well stabilized then it may not be the bargain that you
think it is.
Diesel fuel typically after one year will rapidly begin to separate in
poor combustable 'heavy' fractions of alphenes and heavy paraffins
...... if this stuff isnt 'crystal clear' then beware.

Good thinking. It's pretty fresh. It's crystal clear.
