There is a cal 34 free for the taking, went down with Katrina, hull
intact, slow leak... mast gone. was submerged for afew weeks. I
raised her but she keeps sinking..cranes and equipment are available
next door. need to move it out now.

I used to own a Cal-34, not a bad boat. Yours however is a negative
value boat. :-)

It's not enough to give it away, you'll need to pay someone. The
scrap lead in the keel is the only thing of value at this point, and
that will take a lot of effort to salvage, leaving a lot of worthless
fiberglass laying around to be dumped.

sailing rig was trashed and eliminated. The keel was cut back to self-
right the boat but not so deep in a yard. A second hand Perkins 4-108

Not really.

Remember the hull is leaking badly enough to resink the boat, and
particularly on a Cal-34, that is not a good sign. Probably either
the keel shell is damaged or something like the rudder tube has come
unstuck. The rudder tube could probably be repaired but the
fiberglass keel shell is next to impossible without a total do over.

Last but not least you've got to get the slime and odor out of the
boat which is not trivial, and hope that the deck cores have not
become wet, and the bulkheads delaminated.

And then there is the rolling issue. A Cal-34 without a mast is not a
fun place to be. Don't ask me how I know that...

Like I said, negative value.

matters not as his wifey wouldn't go if there were "waves". We're talkin'
ICW/harbor weekend cruiser. They did take it to Florida and said they
didn't have to wait for a single bridge to open....a real boon in the ditch
in FL.
