I'm thinking of keeping my boat on a mooring in Salem Harbor next
summer and I was wondering if anyone has experience with the services
there. In particular, how hard is it to park at the Village St lot,
and which launch/mooring service is best? Also, a friend has offered
to sell/rent/loan a mooring - is this possible, or do I have to wait
for a few years on the harbormaster's list?

Any other relevant info appreciated.
