Tufted Topper???

Anybody have any experience with this product.

What I like about it is that it can fold up and be stored in an
under-berth locker.

But if it does not make sleeping easier and more comfortable?

We bought one a year ago. It's fantastic. It covers the crack in the
V-berth that separates the cushions, making for a much more comfortable
berth for two. We used it for two months in the tropics this past June
and July and it was great.

What I like about it is that it can fold up and be stored in an
under-berth locker.

Gee, never thought of that, but not sure why you'd want to fold it up.
Ours lives on the V-berth all the time.

Jack, besides covering up the seams, can you really notice the
cushioning with it compared to the standard cushioning that come with
most boats?

Harlan,

Yes, the thing is quilted and has better cushioning that normal
boat-foam offers.

We spend a lot of time aboard and have found it improves our comfort
noticably. The price is reasonable - around $250 IIRC - which for boat
things is pretty cheap. I never would buy such a thing (manly men sleep
on a coil of line, right?), but my wife found it and wanted one. Now
we're both glad we got it.

They also offer fitted sheets which we bought. There's no difference in
comfort or anything, but my wife likes them. I'm indifferent to them.

Jack
