Gulf Stream image..
Hi all,
anyone know a link to find a current gulfstream/eddy image for passage planning? I have this link (http://www.weatherimages.org/data/imag142.html) but it doesnt seem to give current images anymore. Thanks in advance |

John That link didn't work for me but after poking around I got here http://www.thecoolroom.org/data/data_sst.htm Go to the bottom of the page for the gulf stream stuff. |

you can not find a new one for free. The shipping companies pay big
bucks for that info so no one gives it up until it gets a little out of date |

Your link worked fine for me. If you click on the "Previous Page" link you get most any type of WX info you would want. The only problem I had was with the sites security certificate. Just click "Yes" and your off. |

Just click "Yes" and your off. Yes, but the Gulf Stream images are almost 2 months out of date. Just a hunch, but I think they change more often than that. |
