Greg, before you buy a Sea Ray, put down the slick Sea Ray brochure and
take a look inside:

I read all his reports and was relieved that Sea Ray has improved quality
and design on the Sundancer series. As for the hull, Oregon has no
hurricanes, so it's unlikely that hull will be flexed unless I hit rocks or
something. In that event, it's abandoned ship while calling the coast guard
or river patrol. This boat will never be on the ocean. Exclusively the
Sound or the Columbia River.

But, alas, in Oregon there are ROCKS.....right?

I wouldn't trust Brunswick to tell anyone the truth. Sea Ray knows better.

Columbia River mostly has sand, but your point is well taken. If one stays
in the channel, then the only problem is deadheads.

OR hits a wave. At speed, they can be brutal.
