Do you recommend seacocks with chrome plated bronze or stainless steel
balls for handling waste? Both seem to be available at more or less the
same price...

IMO, it's a toss up between those two, with MAYBE a slight edge to
SS--but only if it's 316 investment cast. Otoh, when the chrome wears
off, or is eaten off the plated, you'll just have what you should have
bought in the first place: bronze. Just be sure it is bronze...you want
to avoid chrome plate BRASS...which, if both the chrome and the SS are
about the same price, I'd bet it is.
