Any opinions on Skymate?

I'm looking for opinions on this product: http://www.skymate.com

A search of the newsgroups for opinions shows that this has been asked
before, but not answered.

One reference says that weather may affect reception.

Another says that the system worked well when evaluated during a test.

Does anyone have any real world experience with this product, or this
technology.

What are its weaknesses?
