You didn't say what type of sailing you're doing. You would want different
sails, and maybe different sail makers, if you were racing, or local
cruising, or heading off around the world.

If your choice is heading off around the world, then you can't do better
than Hasse & Company Port Townsend Sails. They're at
http://www.porttownsendsails.com/. They specialize in well-built cruising
sails.

The sail is a 300 sq ft roller reefing genoa for cruising inshore. I've been
in Hasse's and they do make good sails but over $4000 for this sail is a
little steep for me! That's why I'm still looking.

There are some great condition sails that you can buy used if you're on
a budget. You can find ads in the back of most sailing rags and you can
go he

they are in Costa Mesa, CA but they mailorder. I have bought from them
and not liked what I got, and they took it right back. (like most of it
- just had one I didn't like)

They are out in Fort Lauderdale and Dave is the guy to call there about
used stuff.

Quick check shows no listing for used sails on sailorman. The used sail
listing on minney was last updated in May!

Try calling them. I don't think ther websites are all that important to
them.
