Default Growing herb while sailing.

One summer I was successful in growing basil in a plastic pot glued to the
cockpit seat near the bulkhead. I wonder if any one else has had success
with other type of plants or vegetation growing while sailing.

All it takes is a BBQ, a WhirleyPop and some green beans. And no one
directly downwind - its really smoky.
