Allied Seabreeze vs. Pearson 35

Ladies and gents

I'm idly window shopping on the net for the next boat.(Gotta get the
admiral to buy into this idea but I'm working on it :-).)

And am looking for opinions on the Pearson 35 centerboarders build
throughout the '70s. Specifically, how do they compare in build
quality, sturdiness, sailing ability and roominess to the Allied
Seabreeze. On paper, they seem pretty close in many respects but real
life is sometimes a different story.

Evenual uses would be mostly coastal cruising, carribean with possibly
a trip to Bermuda as well.

Many thanks in advance

Matt

They were both good boats in their day but the Allied's were a cut
above in build quality. At this point in time condition, past
maintenance quality and upgrades will be the key deciding factors.
