bent anchor shank

i have a 45 lb cqr with a slightly bent shank. if i align the shank
with the crown, pin, and fluks in the manner as to it would be working
on the bottom the shank has a slight bend of about 2 - 2 1/2 inches. i
was woundering if anybody has any information about its sericeability
as a working anchor (and one of my storm anchors as i live in
florida)on a 38 foot rival sailboat. i think the warranty only covers
breakage.

A bent anchor stock is "broken", in my opinion. You don't want to
rely on a compromised anchor. Your ground tackle is your most
important safety equipment.
