Autohelm/Raymarine linear drive repairs?
 

My original AH linear drive unit is now my back up unit. However, it broke
last week while testing and I sent it back to Raymarine (through West
Marine) for repairs.

I was surprised when WM called to day to inform me that it had been returned
as not repairable/parts no longer available.

I realize that this it an old AH3000 tiller unit, however, it appears to be
the same drive as those presently or recently sold with the ST4000 tiller
pilot. Maybe I'm mistaken, but the sure look the same..

Anyone have any recent experience with repairs to these drives??
