ASA.Sailing site?

What's happened to their newsgroup site? It is all gibberish.

Basically, the flonkers' interest was piqued by a couple of people
cross-posting, even though they should have known better. In addition, a
couple of people also joined the databasix ISP, a known haven for looney
tuners. If you have any doubt, check out http://archives.mfn.org.
Fortunately, there are only a few of them.

You just need to adjust your filters a bit and refrain from responding to
them.

I have deleted this the ASA. Sailing Site from the newsgroups I visit. You
are right, it hasn't been about sailing in some time. I don't even know why
I went there.

Your first mistake is in your subject line--thinking alt.sailing.asa is
about sailing. It's about flaming, posing and generally trying to show you
have the biggest dick on the dock. The boat is only a tool for that
purpose.
Optimistically, maybe one message in ten is an exception, and worth
reading
during normal times.

So what the latest dump of garbage has done is simply increase
exponentially
the number of posts you have to delete without reading.

Do they sail there? **** I thought that it was Capt. Neals and Katty 's
hook up and look no further, know what I mean site. Go figure.
