Beside Beneteau and Hunter who would be building sailboats in the US and
Canada

Catalina builds boats in Florida and California and Morgans too. Island
Packet builds (I think) in Florida.

I think that Pac. Sea Craft are now making their hulls 'off shore'. I know
their large trawler is.

Although I haven't heard of any recent production, I think Cascade Yacht is
still in business.. About 10 years ago they took over the Building and sales
of a couple nice Jay Benford designs. Marketed as "Cascade Classics".

PS was bought out by a group of Asian investors a while back, wouldn't be
surprised if they took production to Taiwan. Should have mentioned the
botique builders like Morris, Robinhood, and Little Harbor. And one other
important fact, a lot of those Taiwnese boats were designed by American
na's, can't say the same for the European boats.
