The Compass Owner's Group is the best place for info http://groups.msn.com/Compass2829Yachts/ The Pacific 27 was built by Compass Yachts who also built a 26 foot version. The Compass 28 was also stretched out to make the Compass 29. I own a 29 and a lovely boat it is, with good interior space and storage. The 29 does have a fair bit more cabin space than the 28 but many say the 28 sails better as it's a sleeker hull. The 28 and 29 are full keelers, bit on the heavy side but great sea boats. Some of them have cruised the Pacific Islands. I don't know that much about the Pacific 27 but it is a fin keeler with skeg hung rudder. Darren |
