PUR 80 Watermaker
Looking for a con rod for the crankcase of the PUR 80 watermaker. The
pin has elongated the small end hole to such an extent that is creates a knock when in operation. We are in Thailand but any supplier would be great. Lyn & Tony S/V Ambrosia |

Shouldn't cost you very much, and I know that there are machine shops in Thailand. Me |

Wear should be on both parts if material selection was reasonable in the original rod & pin. Pin won't be smooth and the new joint will wear quickly (at least more quickly). Skip |
Only problem is that the small end has stress fractures that may cause a larger problem is re-bushed |
