if a hauling trailer loses it's hydraulic pressure ?

I see that Brownell and others make trailers to haul sailboats with
hydraulically activated support arms.

I assume lateral support is not lost if pressure loss occurs while
hauling and that they somehow mechanically lock once the arms are
positioned. How do they lock ?

Thank you.
