Sunray Temperature Guage
 

Just bought a 1990 Sunray Mirage (first boat). The previous owner
apparently disconnected the temperature warning buzzer as it would sound
intermittently. Sounds like a faulty buzzer to me. Would appreciate
information on testing the temperature guage, wiring, etc to ensure that the
guage is functioning properly and possibly replace the "faulty" buzzer.
Apparently when the buzzer is disconnected, the temperature guage won't
work.

Thoughts???
