As a matter of fact it is stupid and irresponsible to anchor in coral areas. Why do you say that? Nearly every bay in S.W. Thailand has coral in it. Some times a great deal more then expected :-( The attitude that a sailor has a right to destroy coral with chain needs to be challenged as it is not only irresponsible but CRIMINAL.
