Silver Shalis - a Mega Yacht With an Interesting Story

We are presently docked at Road Town in the British Virgin Islands.
Down at the end of our dock is a huge mega yacht somewhere in the 170
to 180 ft range. It literally looks like a minature cruise ship and
is just perfect in every detail. It is documented to an offshore
corporation but a little digging around on the web pulled up more
information. It turns out that it is owned (indirectly) by a fellow
named Larry Silverstein. He is a major NY real estate develper and
the lease holder of the original World Trade Center site. The boat
is named after the first part of his last name, Silver, and his two
daughters, Shari and Lisa.

Silverstein was involved in a major insurance dispute after the 9/11
World Trade Center attack. His insurance company claimed that the
attack counted as one insurable incident. Silverstein counter
claimed that it was actually two incidents. Don't remember how that
turned out - I'll leave it as a homework exercise.

Wrong! One attack with two weapons = one attack = one incident.

If a man used two guns to rob a bank it is one robbery incident, not two.

I don't understand each parties motivation. One incident, one deductible.
Two incidents, two deductibles.

I believe it was more complicated than that, something like the
insurance policy having a cap on how much would be paid per incident.
There was around a billion plus dollars at stake if my memory is
correct.
