Sea Hawk Paints
I currently use Act for my boat's hull and Trilux for the stern drive.
The Act works pretty well but the Trilux allows a lot of barnicle growth as the boat is not removed from the water until October. (I'm in MA.) Anybody have any experience with Sea Hawk paints in either a hull or outdrive application? Do they perform significantly better than other antifouling paints? And is there a brushable alternative to the antifouling outdrive spray? Help much appreciated! Frank |

My experience is that I can usually get better service and a cheaper price by using commercial bottom paints as apposed to "Yacht Paint". As your stern drives are aluminum I would check Jotun or another commercial paint maker and see what is available, prices and packaging for aluminum hulls. *AGREED* Check out Jotun's range. -- Ian Malcolm.
