I hate "merry" Christmas.

Getting drunk on spirits and getting bloated on too much food is debauchery. Is it proper to gives thanks to the Lord's ultimate sacrifice by engaging in sinful behavior? Making Christmas all about human vices seems to me to be very antithetical, blasphemous and sinful and no way to get to Heaven.
