Default Ordering and shipping from US to West Indies

At the moment we are in Grenada (looks like an American home for
elderly people here...)
I tried to order a camera at Amazon. Got the message that nobody on
this "Amazon Marketplace" wants to ship to international destinations.
How do you go about when you want to order from the US?

TIA, Len.

A lot of people use a mail forwarding service like "St Brendan's
Isle":

http://www.sbimailservice.com/index.htm

They've been in business a long time and know to ship internationally
to cruisers.

Thanks, but that solution works only when you have an address in the
US. In another forum I got the hint to look at tropical shipping dot
com. They will even accumulate several small packadges and send them
to you in one. Guess that will work for me.

Regards, Len.

"St Brendan's Isle" gives you an address in Green Cove Springs,
Florida when you sign up for their forwarding service.

Thanks, didn't notice that the first time I looked.
I'll look again. Depends on how long I will need their services vs how
long the minimum sign-up period is.
Regards, Len.

Depending on who you are dealing with quite a few companies will sell
to overseas sites. West Marine for example even mentions it on the
front page of their site.

Cheers,
