MONTEREY SC 29 - Comments ?

All,

Looking to purchase the first boat for family fun;
3-4 hrs cruising in the Chesapeake bay area once out in the water.
Not a big fan of fishing.

Anyone care to comment about Monterey 39 ft ( 2005, TWIN MERC, 80 hrs).

Thanks.

I'm assuming those Mercs are gas engines? If so, figure on a fuel
burn of 40 to 50 gallons per hour, diesels about half that.

A boat of that size really needs diesels to perform properly and
deliver halfway decent fuel economy. The resale value for diesels
will be much higher also.
