I bought these slippers as a gift for my husband. They are a nice quality and I believe will be well suited for wearing around the house on chilly evenings. They're not a slipper to wear outdoors. I would have rated them 5-stars had it not been for the sizing. The original pair which I ordered in his normal shoe size were HUGE! Be aware, if you wear a 10 1/2 - 11 shoe, you'll probably need the MEDIUM slippers.
I bought these for Boyfriend for Christmas, and they're one of his favorite gifts. As a smoker living in Seattle, he is always looking for something to keep his feet warm and dry, whether it's late or early, dry or pouring. These slippers do the trick.Boyfriend is a size 12, so the XLs (which fit a 12 to 13) were a little big, but getting the Large slippers would have had him cramped. For all intents and purposes, these run true to size.All in all, a great shoe that works in or out of the house. Thanks, Amazon.
I bought the black slippers to replace my husband's 10 year old navy ones (that are still OK, but look a little ragged). He really likes them when the weather turns cold! He wears an 11 medium shoe. I ordered his Acorns in large and they fit perfectly.
My husband had a pair of these that he wore to pieces. I found a replacement pair online for LESS than I paid for the first pair 5 years ago. We were so happy with the transaction that I actually ordered a second pair to have on hand when the current pair is retired. In short, a great pair of slippers and a great buying experience.
I ordered a replacement pair of "Medium" slippers after several years of satisfied service from an older pair of Mens sized M (7 1/2- 8 1/2). Unfortunately, these came as 9-10 and are too big. The Merchant Size Chart offered no guidance here. Now I'm beginning the return process to essentialapparel.com and we'll see how that goes.
