Sockpuppet drivel snipped, but Cavelamb is correct. Pirates are outlaws.
They have elected to refuse to abide by the laws that govern civilization.
As such, they deserve no protection by those same laws. Pirates are no
better than rats, and should be shot on sight. If, however, they recognize
the error of their ways and turn themselves in to the appropriate
authorities who will actually prosecute them for their crimes, they then
deserve to be fairly tried for those crimes. Giving up when one runs out of
bullets is a day late and a dollar short.
