If you're that weakkneed...better stay away from slaughterhouses...or even
the forest during hunting season.
Forget about those cute little white coated seals... that's bull****
"2. What about those cute whitecoat seals?
Whitecoats are newborn harp seals. Most Canadians can recall pictures of
whitecoated seal pups being clubbed. The images were so inflammatory that
Canada banned all hunting of whitecoats and bluebacks (in fact hooded seals)
in 1987.

You'd never know that from some of the anti-sealing groups that still
prominently display pictures of whitecoats on their websites and in
fundraising materials. One site even features a downloadable video of people
hugging whitecoats. The reality is that whitecoats can't be hunted anymore."

In the US it's illegal to club game to death and harvest only the hide.
Slaughterhouses are more humane.

So what seals are legally bludgeoned to death in Canada?

Yes and the Canadians cry about US "torture" of terrorists.

But then seal clubbing isn't much different from a hockey game is it?

False! Hooded seals still hunted. Don't rely on Wikipedia for your info.

Seals as young as 12-15 days old are legally clubbed to death.

Since you're a Canadian shouldn't you have your facts straight? eh?

How much is a seal clubbing license? Can I use a #3 wood or a driving iron?
Looks like fun.
