Cecil Watch Update
Good morning folks and what a lovely morning it is. I've been watching
Cecil this weekend with my binoculars. Back and forth to his boat at least a dozen times. It looks like he is loading up on supplies. I expect him to be departed by the end of the week. If there is anything I can do to speed up that departure, let me know Cecil. Oh wait! There is. Friday night I walked by the now empty apartment and saw several bags of garbage sitting outside. I could see through the bags, one had lots of papers and notebooks in it so I picked it up and took it home. It is a gold mine. In it were bills, letters, papers and several volumes of a personal journal that dated back to 1995. Saturday morning I went back for the remainder of the journals but the vagrants had already picked through the trash and nothing was to be found. I skimmed through the journals and found they were quite personal documenting Cecil's actions and innermost thoughts. Like Roger, I now feel a bit sorry for the guy all the bluster and hatred is just armor for a human being to whom life hasn't been so kind. I'm not excusing his actions but when there is a human side it isn't black and white anymore. Cecil's 2002 trip to the Abacos was really a jail stint ,hence the date of the Florida Corrections photograph. The whole trip was made up to cover for what really happened. He spent a good deal of time and energy getting even with people who did him wrong, including a handful on the internet. It included trips to where they live and watching them. He even talked to one of them in person without them knowing who he was. I don't know how he got a handgun through airport security, he may have sent it through the mail or stolen it. Those details were lacking, but he said he had it just in case something got out of hand. From what I could find no one was harmed but I don't have all the journals. There is more in the journals but I believe it has no place here. They are incriminating but he serves his punishment everyday in life. He started out life getting the wrong rub and it never got much better. One side of me wants to put the journals up for sale on eBay, the other says to burn them and move on. If he's gone by the end of the week, I will let everything go. So he got some cash from me and threw a few insults, no tremendous harm done. Just having him far away is relief enough. I'll let everyone know when he is gone, maybe I can get an actual photograph of **** boat under sail. Cecil, don't hurt your back loading and pulling up anchor. I don't want you around here any longer than necessary. Bon voyage! Ron Wilson |

Thanks for the update. If all this gets him to actually go out and sail his
boat, think what a favor this newsgroup will have done for him! Never before maybe will the Internet actually have been so instrumental in turning someone into a sailor and assisting them on their way. Have you considered what a video of him leaving, raising the anchors, hoisting sails, and getting under way would be worth? You get the video, I'll pay $20 bucks for a copy. If he can't do it smoothly and professionally after all the crap we've endured here, every flub and snarl will be priceless. If nothing else, this fellow could still end up having a life afloat. Even if his boat handling is amaturish, he'll be doing it and learning just like the rest of us had to do. If he does it smoothly in a way that would make any of us proud, then we'll all have learned something. Anybody else in? Hey, let's make it worth Ron's while to keep watch. Fair winds Cecil. -- Roger Long |

Cecil Watch Update
During the boating season, I always keep my boat stocked with food, water,
clothes, and everything else needed to leave at a moments notice. The sense of freedom that comes from knowing that I can be untying the lines and at headed to sea within 20 minutes almost any place I usually am is just priceless. When I'm daydreaming wildly, I think about how I could run to the boat if something like the Yellowstone mega volcano erupted or a fundamentalist Christian coup against the government took place. I suppose having the state find out that you are a sex offender required to register who has been staying under the radar would count but I haven't had that particular fantasy myself. But, hey, this fellow is living the dream! What could be more romantic than chucking all your past in the trash (for Ron to go through and sell), jumping into your boat, and heading to sea a step ahead of whatever threatens on shore? Whatever sins he may have committed decades ago, I wish him well. This could be the beginning of the best and most real part of his life. -- Roger Long |

Don't you have a wife to beat or a daughter to molest or something? Bwahahhahahhahahah And, I'm not Cecil. You have to do better than that with your cowardly anonymous posts. Nobody believes you, hack! . Oh wait! There is. Friday night I walked by the now empty apartment and saw several bags of garbage sitting outside. Yes, even somebody's trash. You just admitted in writing that you're a thief, fat boy! Maybe I'll stop by the sheriff's and file a complaint. If you out any of my personal information you're toast. But, I would like to have those journals back. If you decide to put them into my dinghy today or tomorrow maybe I'll find it easier to forget all about you in the future. If not, then what goes around often comes around. Cecil's 2002 trip to the Abacos was really a jail stint ,hence the date of the Florida Corrections photograph. And when did you learn how to read? I bet you steal trash papers so you don't have to buy toilet paper. You're a loser and an idiot. Just remember one thing. When I sail off into the sunset you'll still be stuck right were you are. You won't know where I went but I'll know where you are. So don't do anything stupid. Sounds more exciting than an upstart, "green" coffee company, broken down diesel, raging cold front, hapless captain, frightened crew, defective boat - poorly managed, life-threatening, feigned sprained ankle, premature and unnecessary helicopter airlift rescue, a sunken vessel and lost cargo. What's a real-life, dime-store novel like that to be named? "The Log of the Losers?" Har har har! Wilbur Hubbard |
