OT - Global Warming Report
At 10AM this morning it was -23F, dew point -38F. Wind out of the NW at
85, gusting to 93 just before the wind instrument overrevved, again. Visibility 0" in blowing and drifting snow......at Mt Washington, NH. Let's send Algore up the incline railroad for a winter vacation at the mountaintop hotel. The chart for "windchill" doesn't go that low that I can find......Brrrr.... I'll be observing from a thousand miles South through HEAVY lenses...(c; TV says it's gonna be 75F in Charleston, Wednesday. Great day to sneak off to the marinas!...on topic! Great fun to watch Mt Washington's weather on: http://vortex.plymouth.edu/ at Plymouth State College's really nice weather center run by the Meteorology Department students, my favorite hurricane center. |

Right now, it's a little dark up there, but they have a bunch of webcams if you really want to see the weather. http://www.mountwashington.org/weather/cam/ |
