Because the thread has drifted. If a thread gets longer than about 20
posts, I delete the whole thing as it is unlikely to be about the
original topic anymore or to be useful.

Why did you?

Some folks don't like the subject to be changed and often the replies
go on in the original subject. And sometimes I just don't feel like
changing it.

Just got our boat back into the water today. Spent the afternoon
in the very hot sun shaded by the dark burgundy canvas. Nice and
cool!
