Nope. Works great! I put the radio on the shelf in the aft cabin locker
of a Jeanneau 40DS and you can use the mike to talk through it halfway down
the dock to the marina office! It works, here, inside the main salon of
the sloop 8 finger piers down the floating dock....(c;

It would be great if you could have two remote mics, though, one in use and
one on the charger...for longer voyages than just one charge on one mic.
Because it also acts as the receiver, it drains the mic battery quite fast
if you run it really loud to overcome the noises in the cockpit when you
need it worst. Two mics and one charger would fix that problem....a
quickcharger.
