Hello
I am a 20yr old male Chef. Looking for long term sailing adventure. I'm
Interested in sailing, exploring, walking, fishing, diving, surfing,
snorkeling, music, sunset drinks, and having a laugh.
I like to get involved in everything it takes to get a boat to its next
destination including sailing, cooking, cleaning, provisioning,
re-fuelling, water replenishment, boat maintenance and sharing some
expenses.
I have a good sense of humor, Independent yet considerate
Interactive yet appreciative of personal space
A Good work ethic and strong commitment to learning, Realistic and
flexible, Clean and tidy, non-smoker.
I have an understanding that everything has it's place on a yacht.
Able to serve a tasty simple edible meal. Good Communication skills.
Looking for an adventure. email me at

Sincerely;

Justin Peace

Ps: I'm not looking for a paid position, and I can pitch in for food
and water supplies.

I have never done an Ocean Passage before; however I have been sailing
for 2 years around lakes and know the basics of sailing. Including
techniques such as tacking, jibbing, downwind sailing, keeping a boat
well maintained, repairs.
During my time on your boat I would like to learn how to keep a
detailed log, maintaining a dead-reckoning position, calculating time,
speed, and distance problems, making conversions from true to compass
and compass to true. Locating coordinates on chart books using latitude
and longitude coordinates to find any point on the Earth. Taking
bearings and plot lines of position.
