Rutu is to the point that I need to do the galley counter tops. As I am
committed to an undermount Skanvik sink I am pretty well locked into solid surface. After getting this far doing it all myself the idea of paying someone else $1,000 extra to fabricate them when they have never faced the challenges of working on a boat and I have all the tools and skills to do it in 4 or 5 hours really sticks in my craw. The manufacturers certify the shop not the individual craftsman so I have zero chance of being legal. Is there any place to get a sheet of 2cm thick solid surface material without having to be a certified shop? -- Glenn Ashmore I'm building a 45' cutter in strip/composite.
