correcting scratched glass?

wrote stuff and I replied: FME, only with a lot of hard work...and luck. I bought some stuff to do this, and i the end I gave up and replaced the widnshield. I could get improvement, but never really good visibility. I spent about 2 hours in a small area, to test the idea. If it's really glass ,then forget it. Ahoy, I have a portlight that someone scratched up, perhaps by using a wire wheel to clean the bronze. The glass is all scratched up. Is there some kind of compound that would buff it out? Thanks. |
correcting scratched glass?
Easier to just replace it. Trying to buff out scratches in glass will
be damm near impossible, and if it's acrylic, you'll have to go through many steps to buff them out then get it clear again. I guess the short answer is "no". |
