Why are these powerboats uninteresting ?

So it sounds like Colvin might have something you'd like. You could
call his office for details and study plans.

The designs are interesting, certainly. The reason you don't get too
many people building them is that the less wealthy usually want to
build sailing vessels in which to do their cruising, and the wealthy
build heavy-displacement trawler types. At least, that's the way I see
it.
