Calculating rudder
 

Hi everybody from Italy!
I have to substitute the rudder of my pretty boat, a tipical Mediterranean "gozzo" (http://darkwyx.spaces.live.com/photos/?_c02_owner=1).
Someone knows where I can find formulas to calculate rudder strenght, rudder surface based on boat speed?
