Trim indicator gage problem
 

On my 87 Searay I/O, my trim position indicator gage has stopped
working. The trim works fine, but I just can't tell the trim position
of the outdrive. Could anyone give me input on troubleshooting the
problem?

As a guess, the trim position sensor may have grounded out.
