Any pictures of Bett's SO-DO-IT sailboat around?

Hi. I remember seeing a picture of the SO-DO-IT, 14' enclosed ocean
racer a while ago. I believe this was designed at least in part by Jim
Betts. I've been looking for this picture because, believe it or not,
I really liked the paint scheme. I'm building a small cockleshell and
would like to paint it in a similar way.

Would anyone know where I can find a picture of So-DO-It or a boat with
a similar paint job? My boat is a bit of an odd duck and I think a
nice paint job like that would do wonders for it, plus I've even been
thinking of putting numbers on the sides to make it look like it
belongs to some exclusive racing class association. :-)

Not anymore, Ted. Jacques is coming out with his own version of the
boat, just as he did with the GP-16. He won't post any information on
So-Do-It and won't allow anyone else to post pictures of the boat. He
says it will confuse people.

Thanks for the reply, though.

You may have to join this group. Some in this group have sailed this
boat:

I sailed the prototype one afternoon on San Diego Bay. It was fast
for it's length. It was very roomy inside. Any powerboat wake made
it hobbyhorse uncomfortably. Maybe loaded down with 3 months of
provisions would cure that.

I think the reason it wasn't a big hit is the difficulty with the
center of effort moving forward when roller reefed. No good way to
get good sail balance. Perhaps the addition of a staysail corrected
that problem.
