Looking for slower thinner for 2 part epoxy primers - used Zspar t-10
last weekend in the LA heat - flashes off to fast to keep a wet edge -
is xylene or ?? slower ?

Do what I did, start after 4:30 PMG.

At least it worked for laying glass outside.

I believe that T-10 is basically mineral spirits, like Interlux 333.
T-8 is a xylol-naphtha mix and more volatile.
For mundane paint or varnish, try Penetrol which is slower still.
Dunno about 2-part epoxy paints. I'd call the manufacturer.

I thought 333 was just plain thinner,so I used generic thinner for
Interlux paste wood filler. A low tech product, I thought, what the
heck. Did not go off.
Always use the recommended thinner; took me years to figure that one.

For mundane paint or varnish, try Penetrol which is slower still.

Beware using Penetrol with single part polyurethanes, like
Brightsides. Incompatablel Thousands of tiny blister. Again, the voice
of hard earned experience.
