A lot of interesting designs, a very active builder/user base, and an

reminds me of something humourous about the Stevenson's. in one of their
books on this type of design they claimed 10,000 copies of the plan had
been sold, or some number like that. it seems the plan appeared in Popular
Mechanics.

the Ottawa public library has an old Stevenson book devoted to an earlier
design for a tiny child's boat which is built the same as the Weekender,
called the Amphora, a neat idea that grew.

Rumour has it that plans for the Amphora might be soon released for free.
There are a couple being built right now out of the book that I am aware of.
