I really like the Bolger AS29 for its shoal draft and easily lowered
Gaff Rig but it is too heavy to be trailered. I like the Michalak "Cormorant" for its water ballast so it can be trailered but am not sure of its strength or righting moment with water ballast. Is there a compromise? Does anybody know of a shoal draft boat like the AS29 with both real ballast AND water ballast so it can easily be trailered? |
