I'm looking for a custom fabricator of HDPE Poly for a water tank.
Anyone have any recommendations? Preferably in the NE, but nationwide
is ok. Thanks.

How many places are you gonna post this question, Marc? :)

Answer's gonna be same everywhe Ronco Plastics
(http://www.ronco-plastics.com) has rotomolded tanks in at least 400
sizes and shapes to choose from, including over 100 that are
non-rectangular. In the unlikely event none of those fit, C.C. Tech
(http://www.gocctech.com/marine/boat-tank.htm)
makes good quality custom welded plastic tanks to any drawing you give 'em.

Every where I need to Peggy. Since I asked for CUSTOM tanks, Ronco is
not an option. I knew of CCTech before I posted. By asking on
multiple sites, I got Annapolis Yacht Accessories, and Dura-Weld.
Thank you for your participation.

I was just kidding, Marc.

I wouldn't go with Duraweld (nor Duracast if someone mentions them).
Their tanks are not even close to the same quality as Ronco or C.C. Tech.

I believe Annapolis Yacht Accessories is only a dealer, not a mfr, but I
could be wrong. There are very few quality plastic tank mfrs/fabricators.

Why do you feel that only custom will do? In the more than 10 years my
company was a Ronco dealer, I can count on the fingers of one hand and
have fingers left over the number of boats that at least at least one
Ronco tank wouldn't fit. Since there is no top or bottom till the
fittings go in--and you get to specify where--almost all their drawings
can be oriented any direction. And their tanks are the best quality out
there for prices that aren't much more than the cheapest tanks. So
before you give up on 'em entirely, play with some of the
non-rectangular shapes...rotate, flip end for end...you might be
surprised by what will fit. It's also worth a phone call to find out
what they might have that isn't in their catalog...they're always adding
tanks, but not updating the website very often. I don't have any axe to
grind by recommending 'em so highly, btw...just a lot of experience with
theirs and most other mfr's products and service.

I removed a 40 gal water tank in my bow to install a 30 gal. Ronco
Holding tank. I am trying to replace as much potable water tankage in
the bow as space will permit. To maximize the tankage, I need to go
custom. At this point, I have mocked up a tank that will give me 31
gal. actual. It has no shape Ronco, Kracor or Todd ever made.

Thanks for the added info on CCTech. So far, their price is the
lowest, and now I know what questions to ask the other guys.
Also, I'll give Ronco a call to see if they have anything that's not
in the catalog.

I thought Ronco DID make custom tanks? Even though they have so many stock
types, I can't imagine them not having something to fit just about any boat.

They will, but they'll charge about $600 to make the mold. They don't
make welded tanks, only rotomolded.

stock types, I can't imagine them not having something to fit just
about any boat.

With a total of more than 400, they do.
