Need help identifing...

Hi all,

I have come across a 1954 Holmes-Craft, 16-foot.
The boat still has the original paint job and has been garage kept it's
entire life.

I am looking for any information that is available for this boat.

I will provide any pictures that may be needed to help assist in identifing
this boat.

Thanks in advance,
Rob

Would that be a 1954 Holmes-Craft, by any chance?

Seriously, what more info do you want on the boat?

Steve

You might be able to post something on www.fiberglassics.com I didn't see
your particular boat there, but they know old fiberglass boats RichG

Steve,

A correction on the boat. It is a 1956 Holmes-Craft.

Holmes-Craft is the only identification on the boat and it is designated by
a diecast emblem on the sides of the boat. The issue is that I can not
locate a Holmes-Craft Manufacturer so far.

I have located a Holmes Boat Works in Texas, but the owner does not recall
any boats with the emblem of Holmes-Craft. He said that as far as he
remembers, the boats that came from his bussiness were just marked as
Holmes.

So the question is, is there a difference between a Holmes-Craft or is the
boat a Holmes?

I can provide more information that I have learned as I learn about it or if
asked of me.

Thanks again in advance,
Rob
