Gelcoat scratches

Oops. I was working on sanding my teak and let the sander hit the gel coat a
couple of times. Very light scratches, but noticeable. Think I can wet sand
them out? What grit should I use? If that won't work, any other suggestions?

It depends on how deep they are. Try 400 grit and if that doesn't cut
fast enough, start with 220. Then progress to 400, 800 (and optionally
1200), then switch to polishing compound to bring out the gloss.
