Adding Decks and Lockers

What would you do to add fishing decks and storgae lockers to an aluminum
boat?

Weight is an issue since the boat is intended for shallw water exploration.
An extra inch of draft might make the difference between getting into a back
lake or not.

I was thinking plywood, but like I said weight is a concern.

Adding Decks and Lockers

Balsa-cored or foam-cored panels. Light weight, easy to tab together with just
a little Frozen Snot, and simple-ish to cut.
I believe Baltek still makes the balsa variety, and I'm ure a quick google will
find others.

Luck.
