I am not trying to kill optimism, but the questions you ask indicate a
limited experience with boatbuilding. You are undertaking a huge job.
In answer to your questions about cost, I will say "lots and lots".

The glass/epoxy/wood and even the engines, unless this is a real
workboat, will constitute a minro portion of the cost of a cruising
cat of this size.

My advice about building, if you are aas inexperienced as you sound,
is to try something more realistic first.

If I have this all wrong, then sorry. I meant well.

Hello group members,

I am Bert Ottens from holland (europe)
i'm plannig to build a power catamaran 36f lenth 15f w.
I'm planning to build it from okume/glass/epoy.
i need two engines (probably around 150hp each)
and stern drives.
Is there anyone who knows prices of parts/engines/resin etc or has any
advice for building?

thanks for your reaction.

bert
