very clever "bottom supports". have not seen the like before.

nice overall design and construction. I'd watch the transom drag.
did you plot the panels from Carlson's Hulls program co-ordinates?

interesting start. some evidence of weakness in lateral and directional
stability in some designs. :)

good of the organizers to provide foam slabs to sit on and equal propulsion
(identical kayak paddles). too bad the supply of duct tape was limited.
not much a person can't do with an unlimited supply of duct tape.

looks like an interesting and entertaining event.

Thanks. I was looking for a form fitting corrigation effect.

Yes.

Yeah, like I said. I made it farther than almost all the other first
timers. Not that I made it as far as I wanted.

No foam pads to sit on. Life jackets and paddles only.

unlimited duct tape wouldhave been better IMHO...

looks like an interesting and entertaining event.

It was. Fun for all!!

They backed a trash truck up to the lanch / finish line. you had to
go out, around a bouy, and then back. Most boats never made it to the
bouy.

thanks for the look and help!!

my mistake, that rectangular block on the bottom of the boat looked like a
piece of rigid foam.
