We are a dedicated and well experienced North American/Europaen team with many years in the Marine Industry who feel we have found a niche in the boatbuilding market and can compete in the International scene by building Yachts in Brazil. The advantages of building in Brazil include a government program allowing for duty free importation of quality marine products from overseas for boatbuilders exporting their final product, a large pool of talented craftspersons, competitive salaries, low cost of living, vast array of fine products such as hardwoods, resins, composites, fibreglass, materials and much more produced right here in this wonderful country of over 200 million people. The climate in the Northeast is excellent for yacht construction - and properties as well as land are inexpensive. We have the capability to produce one-off composite boats or work with moulds on a production line. Brazil recently put a rocket into space, they build jets that compete with Boeing and Airbus, refine uranium and are now making moves towards joining the G8 - this is not the Third World. Access to the market from the bulge of Brazil is approximately ten days to Trinidad in the Caribbean and two weeks to Miami, Florida -the heart of the global boating industry. Europe is also close with only 2500 NM miles separating Brazil and the Canary Islands and further on to the Mediterranean. We are looking to form a partnership with people who know and understand the marine industry - who are aware of technology and its impact on pleasure boating and who want to join what can be, a very profitable adventure in Brazil. We have already set up one yard here and are looking to expand. On our website, www.avanteyachts.com you will find a lot of data and visual information on our project and business plans which outline several approaches to building a business in this enormous country, full of potential. Hi
I guess boatsbuilding just as much and some say even better, develob just the technikes that will make an ansver to that vorry we proberly all share. Still I see the post as more of a pointer to just that fact, that with more advanced technikes there are a better option to develob further and learn. This group are more an amature fora where smart idears and good advise are shared most of us can't even emagine to invest in the features in a modern boatyard , plenty of us proberly have a dull picture about even the materials or production and a few would know enough to even vaste a good piece of material. Please. Politically, Brazil, with Lula at the helm leaves a lot more to be desired than the idiot in charge in the US. |

Why should I shut up about bush. He is an idiot. I feel sorry for you
having to live in a theocratic fascist state... but then again, you are probably to stupid to understand that if you are a chimp follower. Moron. You really are dazed and confused as is evident by your tag and your signature. |
